European Salon in Hopewell Junction, NY

I absolutely love this salon! My Dad and son do, too. They are so friendly and Pauline gave me an amazing haircut! It is exactly what I wanted! Donna was so friendly at the front desk. I highly recommend this salon!!!!!

I just want to reassure you that we are like family here at the salon ! our clients always make comments on on what a great experience they have here . we all interact with each other and have a great time . Been going to this salon for over 20 years. Staff is pleasant and provide good service. Definitely recommend this salon.

This salon gets three stars strictly because of the WONDERFUL stylist Pauline who works there. The owner is rude, inappropriate, and classless. I had no idea she was even the owner when I had the opportunity to observe her (I can't say I met her, as she totally ignored me). She screamed at the stylist with me sitting right there about "leaving the sink wet" when she brought me to the stylist chair. Very uncomfortable moment and it really upset me that she would speak to her staff that way in front of a customer.

Today I went to European Salon because I tried bleaching my own roots which didn't turn out as I had hoped And I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and needed a quick fix. Helen was nice enough to fit me in last minute and she bleached my roots out and put toner on my entire head. No highlights, no lowlights not even a haircut or full blow out and I was charged $300. I could understand had she done everything that I mentioned that she didn't do but she didn't! The stylist was even taken back and embarrassed by the price I was charged and she apologized numerous times for how much I was charged, she didn't even want to take a tip from me saying i was already charged to much but I don't blame her for the price the owner of the salon was the one that gave the price of $300 not the stylist. Helen was wonderful she did fix my color and if I had been charged $100-$150 I would say great but $300 was absolutely insane. I left their feeling completely taken advantage of and really upset! I would never ever recommend European Salon to anyone. It was a horrible experience one I won't ever forget!
