DPZ North in Litchfield, CT

I've been to the salon twice now and can't wait for my upcoming visit. The vibe is welcoming and warm and the salon is bright and airy....think boutique.

Dawn is beyond words. She is not just a great colorist but also just a lovely person. My color is not easy to lift but she does it and After two visits my hair is in better condition than it's been in years and I love my style as well. Don't hesitate to visit them.

My kids and I have been coming here for the past 2 years and we love it - the entire staff is so friendly and inviting, and obviously they give great cuts to boot. Highly recommend!

There is nothing about this salon that justifies the higher than normal fees for service.  Unless the address is more important to you than the service I would not recommend dpz north.  I got the impression from most of the staff that they felt superior to clients. More than once i felt or heard snickering behind my back.  The negative non verbals between staff are very obvious and I was usually uncomfortable. Parking is at a minimum causing clients to park in the back down an incline. Staff choose the one parking space in front of the back door causing clients to walk the farthest in the rain.   Prices are increased without notice.  There is a 3% convenience fee for using a charge card that  I knew nothing about. They refuse to use appointment cards and when one is asked for (every single visit) this overpriced salon has only scrap paper or a sticky note. The receptionist does not know how to write an appointment and will write either the date or the time but  not both .  Items on the floor  caused a fall risk and I did mention out loud there was a peanut on the floor.  Within 5 feet of 3 employees not one picked it up.  Ten minutes late I did it myself.  I have impaired mobility and walk with a cane.  To me the situation was blatant disrespect.

Visiting family in Litchfield and this salon was recommended by my mother who had heard of this salon from various people.

I called to schedule a cut and partial highlights and they asked about my hair type and what I would like to have done. So they paired me with a stylist who was good with short fine hair.

I met with Lauren and she did a great job of listening and being gentle with my hair given it's so fine. She did a great job and gave me exactly what I wanted.

I would highly recommend Lauren.
The price was reasonable and standard prices.

I'm new to the area and was concerned about finding a place to have my hair cut. I have short thick and curly hair that is not easy to deal with. Dawn cut and colored my hair after listening to my thoughts and I'm thrilled with the results and will most definitely will be back. The location is very convenient, comfortable, clean and down to earth inside.  Loved the atmosphere...Dawn and her staff made me feel totally at home. They are following all CDC and state protocols...I watched them clean the stations between customers. And there was plenty of room for social distancing.  Highly recommend!
