I was concerned about finding a new salon When I relocated to the Jersey shore. Having been with my last hairdresser for over 12 years, I feared I wouldn't be able to find someone who would be able to give me the same service I have received in the past. I was blessed to have someone recommend Creations Hair Boutique and their owner Carole. The salon is warm and welcoming, and the entire staff is knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I am so blessed to have found such a gem. I have been here over a year and have never been disappointed.

I spend my summer at the shore and desperately needed my hair colored to get the gray out. I chose this salon based on reviews I read online. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't very good. The staff and stylists are very nice, as is the salon. However, the color didn't cover the gray the first time, so I ended having to have it reapplied and then sitting through a second round of color (I've never had that happen before). Not exactly how I wanted to spend my morning. In addition, I asked for a few highlights around my face to blend the color (my hair is much lighter on top than underneath, due to the sun). But now I have a bleached blond streak right in the front of my face (my hair is light brown). They did give me a $10 discount and thankfully their prices are quite reasonable. If it weren't for the three hours it took plus the totally bizarre highlight, the color itself is fine.

I got married last Sunday and was having a really hard time finding a salon that was open. Creations is normally closed on Sundays but the owner Carole made a special appointment for me on Sunday morning. She also brought in her makeup artist Madison for me. My hair is extremely long and thick, it took her 2 hours to do but it came out beautifully. Madison also did a great job on my makeup. I can't thank them enough for making me feel like a princess on my special day! I also felt like their pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend this salon for hair and makeup!
