I got the worst haircut by Alexandria a couple of months ago. I literally showed her a picture from HER instagram that she posted and she couldn't replicate it.
Haircut was horrible. The people couldn't have been nicer.someone called the next day to see if I liked my hair, I said yes because she was so nice I didn't want to make her feel badly.
For her birthday, Witchy Writer Friend was getting a haircut. It had been years since she had a professional styling (her method of taming her hair was to pull her hair back into a ponytail and hack at it with a pair of scissors!) so she was due. I asked the people I saw with great hair where they got it done, and the most popular answer was CR Salon. I called and booked an appointment.
We had to reschedule a few times due to the plague, with a customer exposing the entire staff one day (which shut them down for a number of days), and then one of the other stylists had tested positive which did the same. We eventually found a period where everyone was in good health, and WF finally got her appointment with Alex.
WF's only request was to move away from her then-current "swamp hag" look, to something a little more contemporary and easy to care for. My thought was that Alex is a stylist, not a miracle worker, but Alex took the request and ran with it. I was left in the beautiful and comfortable waiting area for a long time, while WF was hustled off into the cutting area. The perky receptionist offered me a beverage while I waited, one I gratefully accepted.
Finally, it was reveal time! I didn't recognize WF at first, the cut, framed her face, took years off her look, and preserved her trademark "skunk stripe" that usually hung in her face! Alex IS a miracle worker!
Prices are about mid-range for the salons in the area, and considering the amount of time required, was probably a bargain. WF was very happy, and has gone back a couple of times to keep the new look from reverting back to its preferred state.

Amazing find so close to home ! Took me on short notice so you never know what to expect and I was blown away! Super clean and bright environment and so welcoming. Alex did my color and was fabulous! So was Amanda who did wax. Cindy the owner is so friendly. Fair prices too! Super easy to book and definitely will return regularly. I would definitely recommend!
