Blush Beauty Bar Nail & Spa in Morris Plains, NJ

Blush was always me go to salon. The owner Linda who was awesome is no longer there. Close to 2 years ago it was under new ownership. At first i was pleased. Then recently not at all pleased. Back in June 2023 i went for a pedicure. I sat down and the girl who started me was great, however she only got to do one foot. Then they switched me to an older woman with glasses who talked the whole time. I don't like to talk i like to relax and enjoy. She upsold me on something I didn't want. I paid and left and was not happy. I thought i need to find a new place. When i got home i realized my other set of toe nails never got cut. What a waste of my time and money. I recently revisited the salon and the experience was not much better. Its a shame! I really wanted to like this place.

Was looking for a place open on a Sunday. Found this place through a recommendation on a local mom's group. Place was clean and people where friendly. I was initially happy with everything. However, within a week my dip manicure was chipping. I get dip all the time and it lasts me a good 3 weeks so the fact that within a week this one was chipping didn't sit well, especially with the higher cost that my usual place. My pedicure also chipped within the week, which this time a year is unusual considering I'm not wearing open toed shoes. My initial reaction was I'd go back here but now I won't. Paying a higher price for a dip manicure that doesn't last a week doesn't sit well.

Ive been coming here for years, whenever I am in the area. The place is clean and cute and they have a great supply of great colors, and every one is really nice. Yesterday I went in for just a manicure. I must admit, I was being kind of difficult lol. I had things on my mind and the nail girl wasn't taking off my previous polish very well. I had to ask her a few times to get the old color all offf. She finally did. And eventually did a wonderful job. Then she was putting on the new color , rather sparsely. I had to tell her to fix it. A couple of times. And she did. I might have been a tad impatient but she was kind and understanding and just listened and was not rude or abrupt- nor did she have any attitude. Whatsoever. I will continue to give this place 5 stars. And come back when I am in the area. This is how a business should be run - Respectful to customers. I don't often leave reviews, Especially negative. However, this Nail Salon is awful and I would avoid it at all costs. Not only is it filthy and dust everywhere, they are rude and pushy and the whole time they just try to get you to add on services to get you to pay more at the end. Also, they told me I could pay with Venmo when I first got in since I didn't have my wallet on me, at the end it was such a disaster and they kept me in the salon for so long while they tried to figure out which QR code it was for me to pay them, I felt like a hostage and I was honestly so upset. Not to mention, a simple fill of my acrylic set, took over two hours! It's a horrible salon, I know there are so many better places in the area, I would honestly just avoid this place and don't waste your money or time!!. There's absolutely nothing special about it, they do not have a good assortment of colors, they didn't even have the right sparkle nail polish that I wanted, they are outdated and rude. I feel so regretful for going to this place, it just totally ruined my day. and I'm not even happy with the work that she did after all that time! Horrible experience and service.

Came in for a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. My pedicure and nail tech who did it were awesome as well has the 10 minute back massage after. My 7 minute "manicure" was not. My manicure was awful and my 10 minute massage during lasted longer. I needed them cleaned up and painted and neither were accomplished. She did not soak my nails or do anything to my cuticles. She barely filed anything because she never had me wash my hands or even wiped anything off of them. I could've painted them better myself and done more at home. Very disappointed with the manicure nail tech service, attitude and everything. I will not return because of this 8 minute "manicure". Sorry to the awesome women who did my pedicure.
