took off of work to go in and it was dead there . three women there made excuse after excuse why they couldn't work that day . my hair was to dark and not ready for dye . never heard anything like this before . wasted my time . won't be going back. use to be good now they are money hungry n rush . not like it use to be

I always call ahead to see if I can get in with Nancy or Jason because they have done my hair before and I was very happy. Really anyone in there for a blowout is great! You can also just in which is extremely convenient or I called an hour before! Great for last minute plans and can't get your hair right. For a great price too!! Today I added a scalp and neck massage - fantastic! You already get a little one when getting washed but I needed some pressure points relaxed. There you will also be asked if you might want hot oil or an additional treatment for about $6. I've gotten other treatments in the past for extra health and shine added. Much cheaper than main salons! I have been there and gotten a trim and have seen others get other services as well. As for the vibe it's not a place that you really sit and hang out and get to know your hairdresser. They are quick and efficient and will blow dry your hair fast and have it looking great!

this is a no frills, affordable but effective kinda place. perfect for blow outs- the washes and accompanying scalp massages are top notch and they'll have you out of the chair with a beautiful blow out fast. I also get my color done here- your formula is saved in their system eliminating any guess work or variations in results. no appointment needed- though once and awhile there can be a small wait. can't speak to the quality of the rest of the rest of the services. but a solid option for hair care especially if you can't or don't want to bother with booking a hair appointment a week + out.

Stay Away ! One star is too much for this illegal run shady business. Department of health and hygiene needs to check the cosmetology license of everyone working ; I'm going to say based on my Bizarre! Awkward Crazy Experience, there is one person with a Cosmetology license and everyone under them is UNLICENSED! There is no way any of these employees passed the state board exams . Made an appointment today for 4:00pm with Leslie . Upon walking in there was a man standing at the door who told me to close the door; I replied to him that the door was open so why doesn't he close it . Upon asking for Leslie, they told me there is not an employee by Leslie and advised I was at the wrong salon . Showed them my phone which has the name of the salon and number and said to them so this isn't your phone number? They replied yes , and asked them who was the person that made the appointment, they said Anna ,and when asked to speak to Anna they said she's somewhere else !! WTF.... After confirmation that there wasn't a LESLIE , they told me I was confused and my appointment was with Nancy ! Nancy approached me an says I don't know you , you don't have an appointment I said " yes , it's my first time !! Nancy ! Leslie whatever her name was ,says to me I can't do your hair , then a client comes running from the back with dripping wet hair with a hair towel and says to me " you don't know have a hairdresser here and you don't have a name and I have a 4:00pm with Nancy." Of course I told the busy body , client to mind her business as it was my first time there and they screwed up! The client continues verbalize her opinion trying to educate me on the hair salons mess up! ( what a loser ). The customer was too stupid to understand that it was my first time there so how would I Know anyones correct name if I was told LESLIE ! I then proceeded to walk out and a women stood in front of me placed her two hands on my shoulders and says " he will do hair " I told her get off of me and she has no right to place her hands on me . I then advised that I would be called the department of health and the better business bureau and then another women ran over to me and placed her hands on my shoulders! Trying to leave I told her to get off of me or I would be calling the police. This place is a Disgrace and if you're desperate enough to visit ask them to display their NY State Cosmetology Licenses.

Allen and Jacky left the toner in my hair too long and turned it purple. Tom then cut my hair in a center part after I told him 10 times not to. He also asked me if I was sure I didn't ask for that color. They then had to iron every bit of my hair to try and get the color out. It didn't work. They had to wash it again and I caught Jacky trying to out some more toner in my hair as they washed it. Then they had the audacity to charge me full price and not apologize once. I would never step foot in this place again. Amazing they do any business with customer service like that.
