Bethel Day Spa & Nail Salon in Bethel, CT

Amisha is wonderful and provides top-of-the-line services. I've been going to Bethel Day Spa for almost 2 years and I've never been treated as thoughtfully or with such care by an esthetician as I am by Amisha. She is meticulous in everything she does, and provides a warm, soothing, immaculately clean environment in which I feel completely relaxed and at ease. I couldn't be happier that I chose Bethel Day Spa from among all the salons positively reviewed on Yelp 2 years ago. Her reviews stood out among the others, and Amisha has proven all those reviews to have been more than justified - to the extent that I have requested gift certificates to Bethel Day Spa as holiday and birthday presents!

There is simply no one better than Amisha, I'd never go anywhere else.  She is thorough, kind, extremely knowledgable, personable, and never pushes services or products on you.   Everything is tailored specifically to you.  I always let her decide what needs to be done and I've always been totally happy with the results.  I've also had my nails done there and it always lasts longer than in a regular nail salon.  I recommend Amisha 110%.  She also has a cute little boutique with jewelry and accessories!

Absolutely wonderful. Went in for a shellac manicure and left with gorgeous nails and feeling refreshed! Amisha has a beautiful establishment and it's the first time I've ever ENJOYED getting my nails done. No horrible fumes, angry people yelling at each other across a room--totally relaxing, clean and a real luxury. It's my new monthly indulgence and I HIGHLY recommend it. So excited to finally have a getaway close by! I'll never go back to any other salon!

I have been going to this spa since it opened. My husband buys me a generous gift card and it last quite a long time since the prices are so reasonable. I love it there! The pedicures last a month and your nails don't become discolored. The facials are wonderful and she has cute stuff in the salon. Every time I go I buy a scarf or necklace. I highly recommend this place, it's peaceful and spotless.

Tried to book an appointment via MyTime with this salon because of the good reviews. In my reservation, under notes, I noted that I wanted a Shellac manicure and that I wanted to be sure that the health of nails would be first priority because the previous salon I went to damaged them (filed them too thin). I promptly received a response from the service asking me what was wrong with my nails and why they were damaged. I would think, since you are a salon who CARES for nails, you would want to see them and speak to me directly. In fact, my nails are fine, they WERE damaged but are fine now and I am trying to keep them that way. I was made to feel like I was attempting to bring leprosy into her salon or something.

Follow-up:
While I appreciate you trying to rectify this situation with me, it doesn't change the series of events leading up to this review and I feel, the damage has been done.
What you should have done from the start was scheduled my appointment (during which you would have received my contact info), then contacted me or waited until I came in for my appointment to take a look at my nails. Then, you would have best been able to tell me what you could, could not do for me. Instead, you simply refused my appointment without even speaking with me (which was not MyTime's fault as much as you'd like it to be). Who wouldn't be put off by that and choose to go elsewhere? This is the reason for the poor review.
