I have tried a bunch of places over the 30 years plus I have lived in Timonium. There are some good stylists , but they are usually booked when I need them. I was at Kohl's one day and noticed this place and stopped in. Glad I did. I will keep going back to Gary who does a great job. My hair is very fine and thinning and Gary cuts it so it is stylish but not buzzed. The place has a very laid back and friendly atmosphere. Most haircuts have increased everywhere, but his price does not break the bank. It was under 25 bucks .

I have been coming to this place for years but no more! They just lost a loyal customer and they are too foolish to notice or care. Got a bad haircut from the owner of this salon. When I got in the chair I was giving directions on how I want the haircut then the guy says, no no you need to trust me?! Then of course he cuts it wrong and at the end I say can you use the scissor to cut more on the top edge to match the short sides? He cut the sides really short which was the exact opposite of what I asked. Then at the end he REFUSED to finish up so I left and went to the barber shop next door to ask how much they would charge to finish up on a haircut I just got next door. The woman there was nice and spoke with the manager and came back and they were willing to charge half price because I was someone who just got a haircut and just wanted it finished. But I only had $1 cash on me because that was the change left over after I paid the first guy. Then I realized, wait, WHY should I get a second haircut?!! So I politely said thank you then went back to the first guy who is the owner of this Unisex Salon and said I was dissatisfied with the haircut. So he grudgingly did a little finish up but the back is still too long even though the first time when he was cutting it I told him to make the lower back shorter. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!!!!!!! They just lost a loyal customer of many years and they are too foolish to even care! This was 1 week after my original appointment last time was canceled with Ms. Kay when she broke the appointment right before the appointment.

I have been going to this salon for a while. Ronnie, especially, is the nicest and the best hairdresser I have ever encountered. The place is roomy and comfortable also. I highly recommend this hair salon.
