I have been going here for about 2 years now. Amanda is so patient with my photos of what I want. If my hair won't do it or I'm liking color over cut, she tells me. I've even let her style my hair based on photo she says will work with a few tweaks and loved it. Everyone at the salon is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

So disappointed. Was so happy I finally found a place to give me a "good" haircut. They destroyed my hair. Even after showing her what I wanted - which was shoulder length she gave me a BOB!!! I was so pissed and I said to what did you just do.. her response after giving me a 3/4th bob - oh do you want me to leave your 1/4th hair long... are you KIDDING ME?!?!???!! I'm beyond mad at this point. She then goes like oh let me style it you'll like it better then... after applying 5 different products and blow drying, straightening and then curling my hair it looked a little normal. But WHO THE HELL has time to do that every morning ???? So now you're saying I have to do this every morning to look normal???? I seriously recommend going to cheap ass hair cuttery - atleast they follow instructions.... also when I got home I found a chunk of my long hair just hanging there... she forgot to cut it?????!!!!!!!!!! What the fffff.....??!!!?!

I've been coming to Artisan off and on for 18 Years, Iove Debbie and her salon. She gives the best haircut and color of anyplace I've been...so much so that I would come to her even though I had moved first to Michigan then to North Carolina. I would make an appointment every time I was in town for work trips or family trips just so I could have a good hair cut and color. It's a salon where you feel like a member of the family every time you walk in the door.

I had been following Dymond Starr on Instagram for a while and decided to finally book an appointment with her. She is a very lovely sweet person and is great at what she does (check our her Instagram) she is very consistent and ask many questions to ensure she understands what your going for. I was so impressed I went ahead and booked my next appointment with her. No matter what kind of hair you have if you are looking for a great stylist in northern Virginia Dymond is definitely the way to go!

I went in as a walk-in. I got a hair cut and blow dry with Amanda, such a sweet girl. Amanda did a great job, she listens well. They are not over priced which is great. I will definitely go back with her again.
