Artisan Beauty Bar in Kingston, NY

I've been a client of Artisan Beauty bar for over two years. I've always loved my experience at this beautiful salon. I felt compelled to write a review because i recently got my hair cut by Beck and it was the best haircut experience i've ever had. She gives an amazing honest consultation. I learned so much about my type of hair and felt confident that she could help me obtain a result i was truly happy with even prior to her working with my hair. I've been spoiled by Eden for years with my color and now i have the best of both worlds Beck has given me a new confidence with my cut. I finally feel like i've found the perfect and manageable style for my hair that saves me time and boosts my overall self esteem. I recommend both Eden and Beck, my expectations have been overwhelming exceeded.

I use to to get my lashes done here all the time recently a lot of employees have left well the last couple weeks I been getting them done and I notice them to be heavy on my eyes I went to a new lash tech and she explain to me how my lash had more then one lash on them and that they were glue together and even sent me a picture ... I'm so disappointed my lashes are literally ruin and I don't want this to happen to anyone else ... I don't even feel comfortable bringing it up to the salon manager or boss I get a really clicky mean girls vibe when I go there and it not like they can fix it any day because the tech only works Thursday it just a terrible experience so glad I found someone passionate in their art to help me fix this situation don't recommend for lashes.

I called to make an appointment with my stylist today and learned she left more than a week ago. I explained that I have an appointment on the books with her in just over a week, and was told I was scheduled with a different stylist. Really??? One would think that since a week has passed since my stylist left, I would have received a call asking whether I WANT to see a different stylist; instead, they just changed the appointment without consulting with me. As unhappy as I am, I would have been REALLY unhappy if I had shown up to my appointment only to learn it was with someone else. That's no way to do business, and I will NOT be going back.

Highly recommend. I first reached out to them for my wedding (which is coming up) and went in for a makeup and hair trial. Erica did an amazing job on my makeup. I didn't have many inspo pictures but based on just my preferences she created the right look. Yara did my hair and it looked just like I wanted. She adjusted it based on my preferences. This review is for Beck though. I wanted a haircut and color before my big day. I booked an appointment with Beck for a cut and balayage. I wanted blond but only really in the front. I want chunky highlights. I also wanted warm highlights. She did exactly what I wanted! I love it so much. She also gave me the perfect light trim. Beyond her skills as a hairdresser she's just so lovely! Highly recommend going here for all your needs. Can't wait to get a facial and take advantage of their other services.

i walked into artisan beauty bar thinking i had an appt here come to find out i made the spot for artisan blow dry bar well they still were able to fit me in and becca gave me the most amazing haircut!! she was super sweet helped me relax cause i was anxious after a stressful day of losing power in my home and the manager even gave me a complimentary glass of champagne! everyone was just so welcoming and warm and becca was so sweet and made me feel at ease i will definitely come back here. thank you ladies for making my day just so much better. i honestly appreciate it more than you know.
