Aero Hair Studio in Winsted, CT

I recently purchased a Groupon for Aero Hair Studio. After wearing my hair past my hips for several years, I decided I needed a change. I was extremely nervous as I was cutting over well over 18 inches and the maintenance had become too much for me. Erica was super accommodating and was able to get me in prior to an event I was hosting for my daughter. My pet peeve with stylists is they always try to talk me out of taking off so much length and I end up with a style that I don't want. Erica was not like that at all! She assured me that the style wound suit me much better. She talked to me while making the cut and completely relieved me of my nervousness. I also had a full highlight which came out AMAZING and the exact color I wanted. I have never had so much FUN having my hair done. She was professional and friendly. I have received soooooo many compliments! I will never go anywhere else ever again and will be bringing my girls here as well from now on. Her studio was adorable and comfortable. I can not say enough good things about Aero Salon and Erica Koenig. I found the perfect hairdresser and I believe a friend as well which is exactly what a hairdresser should be! I am beyond satisfied!

I booked an appointment for a full highlight and blow out sight unseen. Being brand new to the area it was a gamble that I ended up in Erica's  chair, but I'm so thrilled I did. She was obviously a pro when it came to putting the highlights in. They came out perfect. Like really perfect. Very close to the root and vibrant clear color, not brassy at all. She was completely efficient and focused yet warm and engaging. I will be back. If you're reading this Erica, thanks for doing great work and great meeting you today;)

Cute location, it has actually 13+ hair salon/beauty places within the building. Each salon has its own private room, which seems great for local businesses to own a place. I went for a hair cut yesterday, Erica did a good job and was very friendly and nice.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
'Stylist' Erica Koenig was rude and irritated as soon as I entered. I had a Groupon for a cut and color. She said I would have to pay $100 extra for highlights and $100 for all over color, on top of the $80 that I paid for the Groupon. She called me a liar when I stated that I only use wash out dye and told me there wouldn't ever be any stylist willing to dye my hair. I didn't not argue with her or raise my voice in any way, but she told me to get out of her chair and that I needed to leave. She took my printed Groupon, ripped it up into small pieces, gave it back and told me I could try to get a refund from Groupon. As I walked out she talked badly about me with a co worker. This was all unprovoked, I was a new client and she was angry the second I walked through the door.

I give my hair dresser 5 stars!! Erica was amazing!! She listened to me!! I showed her some pictures and guided me in the right direction.  I left her salon feeling satisfied!!!
I'm in love with my color and cut!! Thank you Erica!! You rock!!!
